SANDY IDIGBE • ENTRPRENEUR, BLOGGER, COACH
After completing a degree in English BA at UCL, Sandy set up FouGen, an initiative that connects young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to educational employment pathways. Eventually, she started work as a Project Manager in the Education Department at The Mayor of London Office.
During this period, Sandy began to recognise the lack of opportunities and guidance for young people looking to gain new skill sets, education and pathways into employment.
Sandy is constantly raising awareness and money for women and children charities in Africa from challenging backgrounds within FouGen.
In 2019 Sandy Idigbe, with the support of FouGen, built The Balamorie primary school in Sierra Leone, Freetown. She believes no child should be deprived of the right to learn.
